Concrete Spalling
Also known as concrete cancer is the result of harsh environmental conditions, poor placement and incorrect reinforcing steel placement. Change of environment and a structural approach is needed.

Problems arising from the introduction of chlorides into building materials. Corrosion and crystal growth are signs. Salt removal and stopping the damp cycle is required.
